First, it has been approved the report of the future consideration working group of the CCEP,and draft of the revised management guidelines of the CCEP. Then, observation data and research results about seismic activities and crustal deformations in Japan were reported and discussed. Discussions were made under the intensive discussion subject " Real-time monitoring and forecast of earthquakes and tsunamis ". Finally, purport of next intensive discussion subject "Long-term crustal deformation of the Japanese Islands " was explained.
