Abstract of the 180th meeting of CCEP

 The 180th meeting of the Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction (CCEP) was held at the Kanto Regional Survey Department of the GSI on Feb. 16,2009. At first, the report of the first subcommittee meeting for intensive discussion subject was submitted. Afterwards, Observation data and research results about seismic activities and crustal deformations in Japan were reported and discussed. Moreover, The outline of intensive discussion subject "Various phenomena on the plate boundary deep slip" at the 182nd meeting of CCEP was explained.
