Abstract of the 185th meeting of CCEP

  The 185th meeting of the Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction (CCEP) was held at the Kanto Regional Survey Department of the GSI on Feb. 15, 2010. At first, Observation data and research results about seismic activities and crustal deformations in Japan were reported and discussed. Moreover, "Monitoring of preparatory process on inland earthquakes" as intensive discussion subject were discussed. Finally, purport of next intensive discussion subject "Simulation of coupling and slip on the plate boundary" and convening of the next year CCEP was explained.
