Abstract of the 177th meeting of CCEP

 The 177th meeting of the Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction (CCEP) was held at the Kanto Regional Survey Department of the GSI on May 19,2008. The report of the observation and the fruit of research such as the diastrophism of the seismic activities of the whole country was done, and discussed. As special topic, "Relation between temporal change of seismic activities and large earthquake" was reported and discussed. Main topics of discussions are listed below.
