Abstract of the 179th meeting of CCEP
The 179th meeting of the Coordinating Committee for Earthquake Prediction (CCEP) was held at the Kanto Regional Survey Department of the GSI on Nov. 17,2008. At first, the report of the Working Group for studying CCEP future activities was submitted and discussed. CCEP approved the report. Afterwards, Observation data and research results about seismic activities and crustal deformations in Japan were reported and discussed. Main topics of discussions are listed below.
